Human Resources Assistant Brianna Geddings sits down with Ozmo to talk about her role at the company and what she enjoys most about Ozmo. Q: How long have you worked at Ozmo and what were you doing when you first joined the company?
I’ve been at Ozmo for a year this month and joined as an admin assistant working with the Human Resources (HR) team.
Q: Why did you choose to work at Ozmo?
Ozmo reached out to me after I learned I was moving to the area with my partner to attend medical school. When they reached out I was skeptical of a place that's amazing and thought I was being scammed. After doing some more research and going through the interview process, I knew the people who worked here were going to be my kind of people. I actually ended up finding one of my best friends when I got here.
Q: What makes Ozmo such a unique place to work?
The employees honestly in addition to the general care and concern you get from your coworkers is amazing. You feel like you've always had a friend here to turn to.

Q: What is your favorite Ozmo memory?
You could say it's a continuous memory because I get to enjoy it every week, my favorite memory is every Wednesday – the day my entire team gets together. The collaboration and laughing that ensues will just lift your spirits. I know most people's favorite day of the week is Friday but mine's Wednesday.
Q: What are some of your proudest accomplishments while at Ozmo?
My biggest accomplishment was the end of the year holiday party for 2021. We did something completely different than what Ozmo had done previously due to so many remote Ozmonauts. I was really nervous about attendance and people being happy with a new norm. To my surprise, I was honestly so pleased with how it turned out and loved putting it together for everyone
Q: What do you enjoy most about your role?
I am a really social person, as anyone will tell you, and I love doing Ozmo's orientations for our new hires. I enjoy that I get to meet every Ozmonaut and tell them all about the amazing things Ozmo has to offer their employees and about what we do as a company.
Q: What does being an Ozmonaut mean to you?
Being an Ozmonaut to me means being hard-working, but also fun and a bit weird. It means you can embrace your quirky side and always know that there's someone who will understand you. Being an Ozmonaut is knowing that you can be your authentic self and never have to worry.
Q: What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
I love to hang out with my partner Sean and all four of our pets. We are a bit of homebodies, but we like to head out to local breweries and wineries. Lately Floyd, Virginia has been our go-to during the summer months.
